Finished the bike last night.. took off the masking and touched up a few corners this morning
decided to spray the engine and wheels as well.. hubs, spokes and all..
and heres the tank panel and speedometer
i expect all the paint on the chrome and engine parts to peel off eventually.. at which point, i'l give it for a professional paint and powder-coating job.. where they'l take the bike apart .. sand and prime each component before painting or powdercoating :) ..
anyway thats sometime in the future.. for now, i'm looking forward to the drive tomorrow or over the weekend.. :)
Update:
people in the comments have been asking baout the paint, so here it is
Bosny No.4 Flat Black
heres the bike in better lighting

Gauti writes:Hi Chautanya,Plz tell me where u got the paint in bangalore and also the steps before starting painting-did u remove the old paint before painting.send to gowtham82@gmail.com
Hi Gauti, I got the paints in R T Nagar(its the area near mekhri circle) on CBI main road. Its a fairly prominent shop selling all kinds of paints. The owner can give you detailed instructions if you ask him. Basically clean the bike thoroughly. Sanding it down with sandpaper is a good idea..especialy all the logos etc.. Then mask all the areas you don't want the paint to touch (seats, disc break, lights, etc) I used newspaper and masking tape ..don't use ordinary sticking tape..leaves gum marks.. Pain to remove. Masking tape is easy to use and neater.Best of luck
