I did a base monkey first that didnt have arms and then painted the arms in 3 separate files.

the finished game can be played here:

Yesterday was gandhi jayanti and we(me , bala, vinil and the rest of Flip) decided to do a little light hearted game for the national holiday. I guess some people might find it offensive - In India most people consider Mahatma Gandhi and anything related to him sacred.

on the other hand I think Mahatma Gandhi would have enjoyed it :) he was known to have a pretty good sense of humour.

Heres some less known trivia:

Gandhiji wasnt the one who came up with the idea of the 3monkeys. read this for more on that in detail.
in brief: "The source that popularized this pictorial maxim is a 17th century carving over a door of the famous Tōshō-gū shrine in Nikkō, Japan. The maxim, however, probably originally came to Japan with a Tendai-Buddhist legend, possibly from India via China in the 8th century (Yamato Period).
....
Mahatma Gandhi's one notable exception to his lifestyle of non-possession was a small statue of the three monkeys. Today, a larger representation of the three monkeys is prominently displayed at the Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, where Gandhi lived from 1915-1930 and from where he departed on his famous salt march." - source wikipedia

Another intersting fact is that sometimes there is a fourth monkey depicted with the three others! the last one, symbolizes the principle of "do no evil". He may be covering his abdomen or crotch(ive actually seen a statue of a monkey in this pose :insane: at a temple), or just crossing his arms.
